Commit Me Here
Date
Spring 2024
Location
Fort Hays University
The 11X14 reductive screen print, Commit Me Here, explores how being raised religiously has affected me. In the left center, I used a photo from my Baptism into the Catholic church and surrounding it, elements of the church I grew up attending. During my Baptism, I screamed and cried the entire time, which I think reflects the feelings I had attending both the church and Catholic school.
